Quality Inspector
Metallized Carbon Corporation is seeking a QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our team in a fast‑paced carbon graphite manufacturing environment. This detail‑oriented inspector will inspect raw materials, in‑process components, and finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists Identify and report non‑conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in quality or manufacturing preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficient in the use of inspection tools and gauges Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle delicate materials carefully Manual dexterity required for operating precision instruments About Metallized Carbon Corporation
