1st shift Bread Operator Production role at Alpha Baking Co., Inc. Location: Manitowoc, WI. Pay range: $16.00-$24.00 per hour. Responsibilities
Ensure the preparation of quality baked goods (bread, buns) by working on the production line in various areas as described below. Produce quality dough by combining ingredients prepared by setup; add additional ingredients per recipe; use dough mixers and timers; monitor consistency and adjust the mix as needed. Assist in producing quality dough by following recipes; weigh and measure highlighted ingredients according to charts; deliver to mixers for completion. Ensure the baking of quality bread by determining when bread is ready to move from the proof box to the oven; load into the oven. Operate divider machines, monitor weights and temperatures, assess presentation, eliminate below-standard dough loaves, and push racks into the proof box as needed. Load unbaked goods from racks (trays from the bottom up) into the oven for baking. Maintain an efficient conveyor system for bread production by placing pans on the conveyor line when needed and removing pans to prevent jams; perform cleaning as required. Ensure final product quality by understanding each product and suggesting changes based on weights and sizes of various products. Qualifications
