Job Description The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Analyst reports to the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division located in the Columbia UI Hub. In compliance with Federal program requirements, the analyst provides claimants with high‑quality reemployment services to help them reenter the workforce quickly and reduce UI benefits duration. Services include developing individual reemployment plans, resume assistance, labor market information, quality job referrals, Wagner‑Peyser enrollment, and WIOA orientation. The analyst also conducts eligibility reviews and adjudications to reduce improper payments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in‑person UI eligibility assessments on a rotating schedule.
Review work‑search activities, orient participants to one‑stop center services, and make job referrals.
Assist in creating individual employment plans (IEPs) and resume development.
Conduct system‑generated and RESEA‑related UI eligibility reviews, identify and adjudicate issues on claims.
Refer qualified RESEA applicants to jobs through SC Works and ensure accuracy of referrals.
Utilize SCUBI, SCWOS, SUITS, Salesforce, Manage Engine, and other workforce programs to serve participants.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Education: High School Diploma and relevant program experience (bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience).
Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Unemployment Insurance and RESEA administration.
Strong judgment, discretion, and customer‑service orientation.
Excellent listening and clear communication skills (written and oral).
