Overview
HII Unmanned Systems (UxS) within Mission Technologies seeks an individual to help prepare Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) and their Auxiliary Equipment for shipment. Duties and Responsibilities
Final wash down and prep for shipment of UUVs and Auxiliary Equipment. Coordinating with Operations Management and Program Management to ensure material is shipped on time. Creating Shipping Authorizations and obtaining appropriate approvals to ship materials. Document changes to configuration as appropriate. Review orders and available inventory Process order changes/cancellations Determine the most efficient and economical method of shipping Create shipping paperwork and schedule loads Coordinate returns and reconcile inventory counts Perform all administrative duties and documentation according to company policies and procedures. Have routine computer skills (directory structure, applications). Other duties as assigned. What You Will Be Doing
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. What We Are Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience with certification in assigned area required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance Bonus Points

May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams. About HII Mission Technologies
