Licensed Professional Counselor - Eating Disorder PST/MST Region
Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on eating disorders is needed for Equip's PST/MST Region. Equip provides a virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program with a dedicated care team for each patient.
Overview The Licensed Professional Counselor will work closely with a multidisciplinary care team (including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship) to deliver evidence-based treatments and maintain quality documentation and ongoing assessment of patients and families.
Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan.
Maintain a caseload of 30-40 with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks.
Participate in initial and ongoing trainings.
Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and outside providers.
Utilize between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR in accordance with policies and procedures.
Engage in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested (licensure costs covered by Equip).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted LPC license (or equivalent in the state listed) from at least one US state in the posting's time zone.
Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages and backgrounds with varying acuity.
Passion for evidence-based care and treatment and availability to provide care 2 evenings per week.
Enthusiastic, strong team player with ability to deliver care virtually.
Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment.
Nice to Have
Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.
Experience with evidence-based treatments and/or intensive treatment settings.
Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma.
Case management experience and experience working with a multidisciplinary care team.
Compensation & Benefits
Earning Potential Range: $71,000 to $105,000 Annually (Base Pay + Performance-Based Bonus Potential).
