Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Analyst in the Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED+F) Department. The department plans, develops, operates, and maintains the campus and provides the foundation for growth and success in the 21st century. RED+F offers strategic campus planning and project development services, including architectural studies, programming, design, construction and related infrastructure and technological upgrades for new structures and renovations. The department also operates and manages facilities, infrastructure and related support services across the medical center. RED+F is composed of the Real Estate, Housing, Planning & Project Development, Facilities Operations & Management, Finance & Administration, Campus Security, Environmental Services, Environmental Health & Safety, and Radiation Safety divisions. Responsibilities
RED+F Financial Tracking System (FTS) modifications and enhancements Support REDF Administration processes in Unifier (Setup Users and Projects) Support Departmental Systems initiatives (PLANON, UNIFIER, PIM) Act as the department liaison to IT for ticket issues including technical issues, e-procurement user accounts, e-finance accounts, remote desktop access, REDF G: drive access Maintain organized tracking logs of authorized users to departmental systems, review periodically Support users with installation issues, and perform modifications and enhancements as needed Assist in Web application Development (migrate existing MS Access applications to the web) Interact with different Applications from MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Interact with NYU Langone finance systems (PeopleSoft accounting system) and address issues Create adhoc reports as required Assist in the Monthly/Quarterly finance reports generation and distribution Flowchart current Operations and Workflow using MS Visio; Track projects completion using MS Project Create, modify, maintain Technical and Training manuals/presentations Interact with raw data tables stored in MS SQL databases; query existing databases using existing queries or create new ones Ensure Data Integrity Manage and maintain FTS information updates from PeopleSoft (e.g., payment updates, PO issued updates, Journal Vouchers, PM fees) Support FTS users with installation issues Handle Administrative transactional requests by RED+F users (rerouting, voids, allocations, etc.) Assist in the implementation of REDF systems/operations solutions Minimum Qualifications
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration or other related field or equivalent experience. Requires 3+ years in a billing office or healthcare setting. Knowledge of practice management and revenue cycle. Strong conceptual and analytical abilities with the ability to identify issues and opportunities and solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent listening skills. Ability to conceptualize workflow, develop plans and implement appropriate actions. Ability to multi-task and coordinate competing priorities. Professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications
