Overview
As a Poker Floor Lead, you will guide and support poker dealers while managing the operational flow of the poker room. You’ll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, monitoring game security, and resolving disputes. This role requires a strong understanding of poker operations, attention to detail, and the ability to lead with professionalism and fairness in a high-energy gaming environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong leadership and team guidance skills
Excellent guest service and communication abilities
Must successfully complete training at CNE Gaming Academy
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authority
Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs and working in environments with smoke and loud noise
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the work of poker dealers
Provide input on staffing, evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations
Lead opening and closing procedures of the poker room
Ensure accurate inventory of poker chips and cards
Inspect decks and monitor game security
Enforce safety policies and report hazards to management
Ensure dealer procedures are followed consistently
Report irregularities or concerns to the Poker Shift Manager
Resolve player disputes professionally and efficiently
