Job Summary

The Attractions Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Attractions Department, working closely with the Attractions Manager. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime applies and is calculated accordingly. Responsibilities

Qualifications: At least 2 years of management experience in the industry preferred Experience leading a year-round, multi-shift team required Experience scheduling multiple job classes and shifts required Union environment management experience preferred Experience with computerized ticket sales and managing memberships Knowledge of Fareharbor is a plus Strong analytical skills, with ability to translate data into insights and actions Proficiency in numerical analysis, conclusions, and solutions formulation Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and exercise good judgment Clear and direct communication skills with guests, using a positive speaking voice Strong interpersonal skills: tactful, flexible, and able to work with diverse personalities Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Job Responsibilities: Maintain updated knowledge of the hotel/resort attraction Respond to guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally, focusing on service recovery when needed Ensure safety and security policies are followed Assist in training hotel/resort attraction staff Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules based on staffing and labor forecasts Coordinate requests for time off, holidays, schedule changes, overtime, and expenditures Assist with hiring, coaching, and developing team members Evaluate team performance and implement corrective actions as necessary Set goals, provide feedback, and recognize staff achievements Manage ticket inventories and controls for daily admissions and special events Conduct monthly department meetings and pre-shift briefings Review work procedures, identify efficiency improvements, and respond proactively to needs Participate in revenue and expense forecasting for the department Additional Information
