Revenue Analytics Manager.
The
Revenue Analytics Manager
leads strategic revenue analytics initiatives and decision support for the Acute Division while providing data-driven insights to support executive financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provides oversight and maintenance of the Acute Net Revenue recognition software application.
Develops and maintains advanced financial reporting models and analytical tools during time-sensitive month-end close processes.
Manages ad-hoc analytical requests and prepares comprehensive reporting for hospital and corporate leadership.
Uses pattern analytics and industry best practice trends to track and model revenue recognition activity.
Works collaboratively with Internal Audit, hospital finance teams, and corporate stakeholders to ensure appropriate controls, accurate reporting, and compliant practices.
Provides strategic analysis to identify improvement opportunities and supports data-driven decision making across Finance/Revenue Cycle/Reimbursement operations.
Prepares ad hoc analysis to assist hospital and corporate leadership in understanding the various elements impacting Finance/Revenue Cycle/Reimbursement. Provides recommendations for improvement.
Collaborates with hospital finance teams, corporate finance, revenue cycle operations, and reimbursement teams on cross-functional initiatives.
Supports hospital CFOs and controllers with analytical capabilities.
Partners with Internal Audit to ensure compliance and control effectiveness.
Responds to urgent analytical requests from executive leadership.
Facilitates communication between diverse stakeholders across geographic locations.
Qualifications Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant progressive financial experience in a healthcare organization is required.
Previous experience in Finance management is preferable (i.e. Director, Controller, CFO).
Proven experience leading analytical initiatives and providing complex financial analytics to senior leadership.
Healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferred.
Background should include robust experience with revenue recognition modeling, contractual allowance analysis, and month-end close processes.
A working knowledge of all processes surrounding Finance/Revenue Cycle/Reimbursement in a healthcare environment is required.
An understanding of reimbursement methodologies in both Hospital and Physician settings is essential.
Familiarity with month-end reporting for healthcare entities and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
Knowledge of pattern analytics and industry best practice trends for revenue cycle management.
Understanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and compliance requirements for healthcare financial reporting.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with large, complex sets of data are a must.
Advanced proficiency in Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modeling.
Crowe RCA (Revenue Cycle Analytics) experience is a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting software applications and net revenue recognition systems.
Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) preferred.
Experience with healthcare-specific systems (EMRs, billing systems, contract management platforms).
Strong communication skills with an ability to create a collaborative work environment with multiple stakeholders across diverse geographic locations are required.
Travel Requirements:
