Key Responsibilities

Assist guests with check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently.

Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.

Process payment transactions, including room charges, deposits, and refunds.

Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to address guest needs.

Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.

Resolve guest concerns or complaints effectively, escalating when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of guest stays, payments, and interactions in the PMS.

Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities, such as dining options or event spaces.

Follow safety and security protocols to safeguard guests, staff, and property.

Qualifications

Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or food service.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or PMS.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem‑solving ability in handling guest complaints.

Multitasking and organizational skills.

Experience in front desk operations or similar roles.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
