DEA is seeking a
Project Surveyor
to join a dynamic team of professional surveyors in our
Boise, ID
office. The primary focus of this position is to deliver excellent service to our Inland Northwest Region clients by managing and delivering high-quality survey projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include supporting project scope, schedule, and budget development, and leading field and office staff across various projects and clients. DEA utilizes cutting-edge technology, providing tools such as GPS, terrestrial laser scanning, unmanned aerial systems, mobile mapping systems, and hydrographic mapping systems.
Additional Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Develop tactical action plans for project-related tasks
Develop and maintain client relationships within current markets and regions
Perform research and calculations across various jurisdictions
Oversee quality control processes
Coordinate with other DEA business units and clients
Mentor and coach field and office staff to advance their survey careers
Basic Qualifications
Idaho license required or ability to attain within 1 year
Ability to self-manage projects, communicate effectively with clients, and mentor junior staff
Knowledge of CAD and land surveying software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads) and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work well in a team environment
