Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and articulate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our North American Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, engaging with prospects, understanding their needs, and ensuring a seamless sales process. The BDR drives customer acquisition and revenue growth by qualifying, following up, and closing inbound leads while also proactively generating new opportunities through outbound prospecting. You should be confident picking up the phone to connect with new prospects and skilled at developing conversations into qualified leads and successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Contribute to building the Business Development function at Graphisoft by adopting and sharing best practices. Document processes and support onboarding of new team members. Define and track KPIs to measure BDR performance. Nurture Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Accepted Leads (SALs). Drive outbound prospecting activity through phone, email, and modern sales engagement tools. Manage and follow up on inbound leads from online and marketing channels. Qualify and route opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure. Maintain and expand a healthy pipeline of prospects. Conduct discovery and qualification conversations and video calls to develop top-of-funnel pipeline. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales development metrics. Provide regular updates on commercial activities and participate in weekly pipeline and forecasting calls. Requirements Strong understanding of marketing lead flow and the sales opportunity lifecycle. Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and decision-makers. Positive, proactive, and resilient—willing to go above and beyond to achieve results. Eager to learn, open to feedback, and humble in approach. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to quickly understand new technology and clearly articulate value to prospective customers. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales development goals. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools – Salesforce, Gong/Outreach/Salesloft. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
