Position Summary The Business Development Manager in the Transportation, Logistics & Utilities (TLU) vertical will focus on creating and commercializing new solutions and use cases. The role involves identifying, qualifying and closing multi‑year strategic opportunities while partnering across product, engineering, marketing and executive leadership teams to execute go‑to‑market strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Grow SEA’s Mobile B2B revenue and market share within the TLU vertical.
Develop new vertical‑specific solutions & use cases in coordination with Mobile B2B Sales Leaders, Account Executives (AE), Product Management and Engineering.
Identify and qualify new customer opportunities through strategic partnerships and prospecting; pass qualified leads to sales.
Support account executives as the solution expert and partner cross‑functionally to shape opportunities and service offerings within the Ideal Customer Profile.
Become an industry expert on Samsung’s partner ecosystem and solution selling.
Engage with CMOs, CIOs and CTOs of B2B clients to uncover and solve strategic challenges.
Articulate Samsung’s value proposition and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across the Mobile B2B customer and partner base.
Research market and customer insights, provide competitive analysis, and inform product and sales teams.
Lead “Big Deal” pursuits (> $5M) in coordination with sales, GTM and partner teams, managing mid‑ to long‑term sales cycles.
Develop win strategies and tailored customer value propositions with sales, product and industry partners.
Collaborate with product and partner teams on differentiated capabilities, bid/no‑bid review, and potential M&A targets.
Participate in panel, keynote and event opportunities to communicate Samsung’s capabilities and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
MBA preferred; Bachelor’s of Science or Business required.
10+ years of business development and/or sales experience in B2B mobile or endpoint computing technologies.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong business analysis skills.
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills for executive‑level audiences.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for communication.
Ability to collaborate across all levels and work independently with organized tracking of projects.
