NERC Compliance Analyst (Operations & Planning)
TSP is partnered with a leading global renewable energy company with a diverse portfolio of large-scale wind (onshore and offshore), solar and battery storage projects. The company is already well-established in the US market, and they develop, construct, own, and operate clean energy assets to support the transition to a more sustainable power grid.
They are actively engaged in energy markets and compliance, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations in alignment with regulatory requirements. As such, they are currently seeking a
NERC Compliance Analyst (Operations & Planning)
to join their team in Austin, Texas, to support these efforts.
Job Description
Develop and implement the NERC O&P compliance program, including policies, processes, and procedures.
Organize compliance documentation and support internal teams through training, guidance, and best practices.
Conduct internal assessments/audits, spot‑checks, and investigations.
Prepare reports and submissions for regulatory entities for external audits.
Maintain expertise in NERC 693 Reliability Standards, regional/ISO requirements, FERC Orders, and RTO/ISO market rules.
Track new and/or revised standards, assess compliance impacts, respond to regulatory audits/requests, and recommend subsequent program improvements.
Requirements
5 years of experience in NERC compliance (693/O&P), or regulatory, legal or compliance related roles within the renewable energy industry preferred.
Proven ability to manage stakeholder, peer, and regulator relationships.
