As a Territory Performance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving the operational and revenue performance of assigned Budget Truck locations in each geographic territory. May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public access roads. What You’ll Do
Manage and improve the operational and revenue performance of assigned Budget Car locations. Manage and be responsible for the store location(s) including employees, staffing, customer service and sales performance. Grow the territory by prospecting for new dealers and local business opportunities/customer acquisitions through sales calls. Coordinate the process for onboarding. Motivate, coach and support operators/dealers to increase inside and outside sales, revenue and profitability. Recruit, train, motivate, coach, evaluate and counsel dealers to ensure customer service and quality standards are met. Act as liaison between dealers/operators/dealerships/company management regarding operational, financial and inventory concerns. Communicate relevant performance and operational news. Manage inventory of parts to ensure adequate stock levels for maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency. Audit dealer performance through daily, weekly and monthly reports across operational, financial and marketing measures. Communicate location performance levels, including areas of concern, to District Managers and recommend opening or closing locations based on evaluations of current store operations and market research. Coordinate reservation coverage with Inventory Management team. Visit locations regularly, prioritizing visits based on revenue and overall performance. Complete all necessary paperwork, monthly reports, contracts, business correspondence, customer complaints, call reports, expense reports, etc., accurately and timely. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations, inventory management, territory management, field maintenance, and/or field operations, sales, or marketing, particularly in a transportation-related field (years of experience may vary by territory). Able to travel between assigned locations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and physical ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, kneel, climb in/out of vehicles, and drive various vehicles in all weather conditions. Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B or C CDL). Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance. Must be 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States. Willingness to Work Outdoors in all weather conditions and near a mechanical shop with moderate noise. On-Site Requirement: Regular on-site presence; not remote. Skills And Abilities You Should Have
Demonstrated sales ability. Ability to manage a multi-site environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, including communicating operational and performance data to dealers/operators and management. Ability to influence others to increase performance levels. Training experience is a plus. Strong time-management, organizational and analytical skills, resourcefulness, motivation, business acumen, and self-management. Strong team-building skills and ability to motivate teams to improve performance; ability to facilitate meetings. Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
