Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

Cycle Counts: Maintain inventory accountability. Perform cycle counts on all items monthly. Perform spot checks as needed in case of discrepancies.

Warehouse Activities: Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, and scrubber. Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment. Maintain daily check sheets on equipment.

Milk-run: Support daily and weekly Milk runs, including RFPC Hardware/Production consumables/Critical Maintenance spares/Calibration gases.

Quality inspection: Address, segregate, and store items requiring inspection in a timely manner.

Maintenance Spares: Upon receipt, store maintenance items promptly.

System movements: Transfer parts between warehouses in the SAP system (Fiber, Hardware, Maintenance items, Repair items, …).

WB torque tubes: Ensure physical deliveries of torque tubes to WB.

Work orders: Prepare items needed for Production and Maintenance work orders.

Shipment Requests (SAP Purchase orders and SharePoint): Prepare, package, weigh, and measure items to be sold for Logistics.

Communications: Maintain clear and detailed communication with Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, Welcome Center, Quality, and Logistics. Manage dock hours drop-offs, pick-ups and refusals per policy. Call and log for Trash dumpster/Scrap Metal switch outs. Assist with Recyclables and Waste streams as needed.

Job Requirements

Daily Activities: 5S – Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving dock and warehouse area.

SQCDPI: Attend every morning meeting.

Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.

Assist Operations as assigned for material movement requests.

Waste streams: Assist with removal of Trash hoppers/Quality scrap/Rejected Disks, and Recycle collection units.

Perform other related duties as required.

Experience/Education/Certification: High school diploma/GED; Experience in shipping/receiving/storage of products including complex commodities, hazardous materials and international standards; Experience in material/inventory control techniques (Kanban, MRP, and/or Visual Management, SAP, SharePoint); Training in computer/software applications and HAZMAT preferred; Experience in 5S and QRQC.
