Overview
Senior Project Manager (PE) with experience in managing manufacturing and industrial design projects is sought for the Melbourne, FL office. Must be a licensed professional engineer or architect. BRPH is a technically focused architecture, design, engineering, construction services, and mission solutions firm serving aerospace, defense, education, manufacturing, commercial, entertainment, and hospitality sectors. Responsibilities
Manage BRPH design projects to meet the customer’s program, expectations, and the Firm’s Mission and Vision. Understand project scope, goals, and limitations; visualize customer goals and work with the design and construction teams to complete projects. Develop project scope of work when required; prepare proposals and contracts per Firm policies. Plan projects, including activities, schedule, milestones, and cost projections; establish and manage the project budget; track status and timeline. Allocate staff and coordinate with customers, Firm staff, and consultants to fulfill project requirements. Lead and mentor the project team; monitor quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. Practice risk management; prepare bid instructions, general conditions, supplementary conditions, and relevant specifications. Prepare project status reports, maintain documentation, and manage external vendor agreements and purchase orders. Support marketing efforts as needed and ensure quality through Quality Control reviews. Supervise Project Administrators and contribute to mentoring of Project Manager Trainees. May visit construction sites to monitor progress, attend meetings, review RFIs/ASIs/PRs, and prepare progress reports. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related field from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in the duties described above. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Project, and Word. Must be a licensed professional engineer or architect. Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing while delivering quality and profitability. Education and Licenses
