Overview
BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg team at Winter Haven Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Manager. Winter Haven Hospital is part of BayCare Health System and has a long-standing partnership with the community to promote health and wellness.
Responsibilities
Proficiency in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues.
Supporting the ongoing team member performance appraisal, hiring, counseling, and termination processes.
Acting as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Certifications and Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
RN Nursing Specialty certification is preferred
Education
Bachelors degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field is required
Experience
2 years of RN experience in acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute experience
1 year of leadership experience is preferred
