Overview Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Network Engineer to join the team. The technical expert filling this position will be a trusted advisor and consultant to the government that supports government-led ongoing and future sustainment, modification, and capability upgrade efforts across the NCMC-ITW/AA and Legacy Space C2 systems. A key focus for this position is the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, and integration of networks supporting these systems. This position will also support broader systems engineering activities associated with these systems.

The NCMC-ITW/AA Branch sustains unique ITW/AA Cheyenne Mountain systems, networks, and associated components through an enterprise-wide set of integrated mission capabilities, support services, and data products that provide military authorities with an accurate, timely, unambiguous and continuous warning and attack assessment of air, missile and space threats. The Legacy Space C2 Branch sustains unique space command & control systems, networks, and associated components through an enterprise-wide set of integrated mission capabilities, support services, and data products that provide space situational awareness, object tracking, and deconfliction.

This is a full-time position at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO, with hybrid flexibility for anyone local - subject to change per the government\'s discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide support and solutions to program leadership analyzing overall program health to facilitate successful contract execution

Provide program-level acquisition support to cross-functional teams

Assist with planning, evaluating, and implementing program acquisition strategies

Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management

Support cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development efforts as well as risk mitigation guidance for performance constraint barriers

Assist with development of source selection strategies, evaluation criteria, Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, and other source selection administrative support

Provide expert Program Management inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs) including, Statement of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and other RFP products

Support, prepare, review, and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory acquisition reports and milestone review documentation identified in DoDI 5000.02

Outline policy disconnects, policy interpretation, and management of all acquisition efforts

Assist with mission execution to include but not limited to operational planning, operational analysis, capability development, event integration, event execution, analysis and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Citizenship:

Must be a U.S. citizen

Clearance:

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance

Education:

High School Diploma

Years of experience:

Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years of DoD experience

Preferred Experience:

Clearance:

Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (or higher)

Years of experience:

Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, including five (5) years of DoD experience

This position has telework capabilities - subject to change per customer discretion

Travel:

CONUS may be required (approx. 5-10%)

Pay Range USD $115,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 / Yr.
