Overview
CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company serving major wireless, high-speed Internet, and cable providers. The production supervisor coordinates and assigns the activities of production workers, ensures targets are met, maintains quality standards, and drives P&L results. This role supervises production operations within an assigned area or shift. Responsibilities
Supervise workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment. Schedule and assign tasks, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Meet or exceed daily KPIs with accurate reporting and customer-focused results. Deliver clear information during shift transitions and prepare the next shift for success. Provide first-level support for escalated issues during the work shift. Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics. Communicate effectively with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues promptly. Engage in employee relations initiatives and promptly address employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Assist in P&L forecasting and analysis, including labor planning and scheduling. Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required. Coordinate workflow to ensure adequate inventory and staffing to meet demand. Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding procedures and development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards for a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
1+ years of leadership experience; materials/distribution environment preferred. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication. Professional interaction with customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (testing and repair), or forward logistics operations. Experience supervising temporary staff. Experience with UKG and Kronos; knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus. Educational Requirements
