Job Summary As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within our healthcare, life science, and financial service customer success teams. This role is 100% outbound-focused, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and lead generation to expand our existing client base.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers in target companies within your assigned territory.
Understand client staffing needs and present tailored service offerings.
Set and attend meetings (virtual or in-person) with prospective clients to pitch staffing solutions.
Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure client requirements are understood and fulfilled.
Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
Meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
Represent the company at local industry events and networking functions.
Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (staffing or B2B sales preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence in cold calling and building relationships with new contacts.
Goal-oriented with a proactive, competitive mindset.
Highly organized and capable of managing a sales pipeline.
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
Local market knowledge is a plus; must be willing to travel locally for client visits.
