Scope The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet production standards.
Responsibilities
Perform first‑piece, receiving, in‑process, and final inspections.
Conduct root‑cause analysis, problem solving, and initiate corrective action.
Maintain calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment and the associated history files on the PC‑based calibration system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2–3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment performing inspections and using testing techniques.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and industrial standards to determine applicable characteristics, dimensions, and tolerances.
GD&T basics.
Proficient with and practical knowledge of all types of measuring instruments, gages, and inspection methods.
Familiarity with sampling plans.
Background with quality concepts and systems.
Proficient working knowledge of 6‑S.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
