Our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice serves middle market and large cap private equity firms, focusing on improving operating results at portfolio companies. PEPI services include Supply Chain Transformation, Manufacturing Operations Improvement, Interim Management, M&A Services, and CFO Services. A&M’s Supply Chain professionals analyze all parts of the supply chain to identify value creation opportunities and quantify EBITDA improvements. Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for portfolio companies. Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, baseline product flow, seasonality, operating costs, and key processes in sourcing, planning, and operations. Develop a structured approach to assessing improvement opportunities and define supply chain strategies and tactics to meet growth and financial objectives. Analyze supply chain network design and footprints, including: baseline warehousing and distribution costs and capacity, inventory flows, and network optimization opportunities for cost, inventory, and service delivery. Develop optimization recommendations for distribution centers and network configuration, including inventory flow decisions (e.g., ship from DC vs. stores, supplier drop ship options, stocking positions). Develop high-level planning models to support inventory optimization across networks. Conduct sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing, including spend baselines, RFI/RFP processes, negotiations, and contracting; experience with 3PLs is preferred. Assess inventory planning processes and systems; recommend improvements to optimize service levels and working capital. Develop transformation plans for transportation, freight optimization, warehousing, and distribution; create implementation plans with estimated benefits (OPEX, inventory, service). Implement and oversee deliverables quality and manage day-to-day client relationships to ensure strong performance. Ability to conduct analysis and lead teams in analysis. Professional Skills

7-10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience Experience from a top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 advisory is a plus Functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, 3PL operations, and production and inventory planning Experience leading or modeling supply chains with software tools (e.g., Llamasoft) Strong fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis Travel flexibility based on project requirements Your journey at A&M
