Position Responsibilities
As an Aviation Parts Specialist, you will work with maintenance staff to fulfill parts requests and needs, compiling records related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to support maintenance operations.
Ships, receives, and stores HAZMAT materials and must become HAZMAT certified during initial training; prior experience with HAZMAT materials is a plus.
Record, issue, and receive parts/assemblies accurately.
Maintain the M&E inventory computer system to current status and report inconsistencies to Stores Supervisor.
Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and solvents as required.
Perform stock transfers and move stock between locations as needed.
Receive and issue parts via the M&E inventory computer system.
Operate a forklift (certification required).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Stores Supervisor/Stores Manager or designee.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and related safety outputs.

Required : High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Authorized to work in the U.S. if hired
Valid U.S. Driver's License

Previous aircraft inventory experience

Supervisory Responsibility:
This is not a supervisory position.
Work Environment:
Approximately 90% inside a climate-controlled building and 10% outside in all weather. Uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
Regularly talks or hears; may sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend/stoop, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs; occasional crawling, fine motor tasks, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
Security Clearance:
Fingerprint-based criminal history records check required per 49CFR1542.209.
