Overview Join our team as a Construction Project Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs while fostering a safe and productive work environment. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and within the established timelines.

PLEASE NOTE- this is NOT new construction. We are a general contracting company that does property remodeling, large cap-ex projects, and interior renovations.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Responsibilities

Project Management (40%): Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project schedules and schematics.

Utilize construction management software BuilderTrend for project tracking and reporting.

Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address any issues, and ensure safety standards are met.

Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.

Prepare detailed reports and project updates on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to the commencement of work.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bids for cap ex projects, remodels, and/or repair projects.

Analyze specifications, blueprints (as needed) and project requirements to determine labor, material, and time costs.

Solicit and compare quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

Track actual costs and compare them to estimates to improve accuracy over time.

Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current clients.

Conduct site assessments, understand customer needs, and develop tailored project proposals.

Present and explain proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, generating repeat and referral business.

Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.

Experience with Multifamily construction is REQUIRED

Proficiency in construction management software (BuilderTrend) is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and contract management.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulations is essential.

A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $75,000 plus performance based incentives/commissions.
