Quality Control Manager (CQCM)

Healtheon, Inc . This position involves establishing and maintaining quality standards and controlling construction activities, as well as implementing the Quality Control Plan for the project. The CQCM will assist in developing work plans and verify that all work features comply with contract requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Quality Control System (QCS), ensuring all relevant information is accurately tracked and included, such as Contract Administration, Finances, Daily Reports, RFIs, Work Plans, and more. Set up and maintain the field filing system throughout the project duration. Draft, maintain, and file daily reports, including safety reports. Perform Quality Control inspections across all work elements, focusing on planning, performance, compliance, and inspection. Oversee the Submittal Register, verifying compliance and managing deviations or waivers. Check compliance of all delivered and stored materials and equipment, ensuring manufacturer recommendations are followed. Conduct Preparatory and Initial Meetings covering permits, equipment, laydown plans, procedures, and safety standards. Facilitate project schedule progress through feedback, submittal reviews, work plans, and issue resolution. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to address site work issues effectively. Knowledge of project coordination requirements. Decisiveness based on compliance, practicality, and facts. Teamwork and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with USACE RMS or CMIC is a plus. Ability to read plans and interpret specifications. Training in USACE CQCM 3-Phase Quality Control Programs. Basic knowledge of First Aid/CPR, OSHA regulations. Knowledge of safety procedures like Confined Spaces, Rigging, Scaffolding Inspection, Fall Protection, etc. Desire to deliver quality, compliant projects. Understanding of relevant codes, standards, LEED, and sustainability practices. Experience: Construction Quality Control: 3 years (preferred).
