Operations Manager – Hydro Blasting & Vacuuming Services Classification: Exempt Department: Industrial Services Reports to: Branch Manager

We offer the full suite of maintenance and turnaround services including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, hydro excavation, chemical cleaning, PEPTM polymer extraction service, vacuum services, tank cleaning, degassing/vapor control, FCC catalyst handling and transportation, and specialty turnaround services. Founded in 2012, USA DeBusk currently has field offices in 24 cities and continues to provide services internationally.

Summary / Objective The Operations Manager will work with all branch personnel to execute strategies to maximize profits in conjunction with client requirements and following company policies and procedures. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of the branch including but not limited to coordinating personnel, implementing safety guidelines, driving change management to contribute to the growth of the business. The Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring process safety and safety compliance by supporting process hazard analysis, leading incident investigations, ensuring emergency response preparedness, and providing assistance for work scope development.

Responsibilities

Dispatch personnel and equipment to jobs using the most cost‑effective manner.

Communicate regularly with customers to ensure job priorities are being followed, quality is acceptable, and resolve any conflicts, immediately notifying the branch manager of any issues.

Ensure all crews are leaving the shop with all equipment, arriving at job site when scheduled, and rescheduling the same crew for the following day to maintain progress.

Cultivate an inclusive, diverse, and highly effective team culture.

Help ensure that disciplinary actions are administered fairly.

Work with operations to write up job procedures.

Effectively manage relationships with customers and vendors.

Assist in equipment and vehicle preventative maintenance.

Adhere to, and train all personnel on, OSHA safety and company policy and procedures.

Help plan and execute branch safety meetings, conduct monthly safety audits.

Regulate all hours for personnel to distribute hours equally and fairly.

Manage the inventory, orders, PPE, equipment, and chemicals to be ready when needed.

Support fieldwork and supervise shop during peak periods.

Track loaned equipment and personnel.

Perform on‑call duty as needed per rotation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Some college education with combined work experience acceptable; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a similar industry.

Strong interpersonal communication, written and oral skills.

Active listening, strategic thinking, and sound decision‑making skills.

Professional presentation and organizational skills.

Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Physical Requirements

Willing to work a flexible schedule, extended hours associated with overnight and travel.

Willing to work in industrial environments and adverse weather conditions.

Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50 lb hoses.

Ability to walk, stand, climb, and sit for extended periods of time at any given time.
