No Job Summary As the Preschool Program Manager, you will assist the Center Director in managing center operations in a professional and confidential manner, incorporating the developmental and culturally sensitive philosophy of the Center. You will create an inclusive learning environment to ensure high-quality care for children and families, meet compliance with Department of Early Education and Care requirements, NAEYC, health and safety regulations, and ensure cost-effective operations. Supervisory Responsibilities Conduct orientations for new staff to create a welcoming and equitable environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Supervise staff: encourage positive interactions, complete evaluations, and develop professional growth plans. Provide backup support to the Director as needed, including managing operations and working with parents. Meet weekly with the Lead Preschool Teacher to ensure effective communication. Duties/Responsibilities Work with Lead Teachers to ensure safety and develop a creative curriculum that promotes learning and growth. Review educators’ curriculum to align with best practices and foster an inclusive environment. Establish and monitor program goals with educators. Oversee daily operations, including classroom schedules and parent communication. Develop strong relationships with parents and maintain open communication. Support families in need and promote inclusive classrooms and respectful interactions. Involve parents in learning and promote family engagement. Assist in developing agendas and facilitating monthly meetings. Maintain staff records and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Provide tours and information sessions to prospective families. Support classroom activities across age groups to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios. Maintain all required professional qualifications and records. Perform other duties as assigned. Education And Experience DEEC Director 1 qualification required BA Degree in Early Childhood Education Minimum of 1-year administrative experience 2 years teaching experience in a center setting Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting and working on a computer Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Seniority level
