Job Summary Ensures finished goods are placed into bin locations timely and batch/lot number are orderly in accordance with FIFO.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Duties/Responsibilities

Entry of bin locations for material placed in racks.

Entry of bin transfers for items being moved from bin location to bin location.

Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.

Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages and any damages found.

Locates materials and supplies Pickers for Pick List orders.

Identifies multiple product lots on a single pallet.

Receives credit-return material and supplies by verifying materials item codes, lot numbers, and quantities.

Ensures safe and secure racking of finished goods, transportation of same and identifies/corrects and issues.

Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, daily, and report any repairs needed.

Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items/pallets.

Assist in pulling orders when needed.

Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.

Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.

Suggest product bin locations update.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

Excellent communication skills with warehouse, production, Lab, purchasing and all office teams.

Understanding of inventory control procedures.

Proficient computer/tablet skills.

Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Ability to read and analyze Information.

Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

Excellent time management.

Process improvement mindset.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous stock or inventory experience a plus

Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

Forklift operator certification .

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Work Environment

Wet and/or humid and hot conditions

Fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat and vibration.

Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals

Moderate noise level

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklifts.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
