Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and compliance paperwork. Coordinate shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damages, or non-conformances, implementing corrective actions when needed. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customs, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipping requirements. Maintain accurate records for shipping, tracking, and costs; support cycle counts and audits. Oversee custom crating, packaging, and special handling requirements. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics data to management. Provide guidance and training to logistics staff and new team members. Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to streamline operations. Support warehouse logistics, tooling tracking, and other operational functions as needed. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or logistics operations, preferably in medical device manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems is required. Forklift experience is required. Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and trade compliance. DOT and IATA certifications. Experience handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Benefits
