Due to our continued success and growth we are looking to recruit a configure price quote (CPQ) specialist business analyst, to develop and manage our product logic, cost models and template outputs within our CPQ system. This role will work with a distributed team in releasing both new and lifecycle updated services to the sales and solution architect teams, working closely with product management, technical service development, solution architects and business cost analysts. The end result being high quality configurable products and business system outputs.

Ensono’s managed services are available to our clients across one of the widest hybrid IT infrastructure and application choices available in the industry; mainframe, IBM i, remote managed infrastructure, hosted private cloud, AWS and Azure.

The successful candidate will be integral to the way in which we package these offerings, quote and present our product set to clients. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team for a professional who wishes to be at the heart of a rapidly expanding hybrid IT leader.

Essential duties

Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ensono’s use of CPQ in our business, reflecting end user feedback

Become an expert in Ensono’s global CPQ system and a go‑to resource for CPQ expertise and advice and business user support

Engage with stakeholders to understand and document their relevant business requirements

Implement and maintain product logic and cost models in CPQ, working in partnership with our product managers

Support sales users in the quoting process and on complex commercial scenarios

Build effective working relationships across Ensono’s business

Identify and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for the CPQ system

Review how CPQ user journeys align with company processes and recommend changes & improvements

Continually evolve the quality and improvement to CPQ, actively seeking productivity gains for all business users

Act as CPQ representative for related business change projects and system integration initiatives such as with Salesforce and Workday

Work with the CPQ vendor to implement the agreed roadmap, test and manage planned releases

Educate new starters and refresh existing users on system functionality and new configurable products

Develop and maintain reporting for business and product analytics

Desired experience

Configure Price Quote (CPQ) knowledge and experience

Solid understanding of IT managed service provider and outsourcing business models

Natural ability to relate to and build relationships with business users from a variety of functions such as sales, product management, solution architecture, service delivery management and finance

Can‑do attitude to analysing, prioritising and resolving complex challenges in a collaborative manner

Experience capturing and clarifying business and service requirements, ability to distil and communicate these needs internally

Strong analytic, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Self‑motivation and the ability to influence others

Commercially minded, process oriented and mathematically strong

Although this role is not technical, an appreciation of technology relevant to Ensono’s service portfolio, perhaps through a technical role earlier in career, would be a potential advantage.
