This role is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, preparing and submitting bids, coordinating with clients and suppliers, handling change orders, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech‑savvy, and experienced in commercial construction project management and estimating, with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Salary Range $70,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Drywall/Paint Project Manager Responsibilities
Oversee large commercial drywall, painting, and related construction projects from start to finish
Conduct site visits and pre‑construction walkthroughs with clients or stakeholders
Prepare, review, and submit project bids
Respond to bid inquiries and maintain ongoing client communications
Manage change orders, requests for information, and contract negotiations
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
Maintain project schedules, budgets, and all necessary documentation
Supervise multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed
Drywall/Paint Project Manager Requirements
2+ years of estimating or project management experience in commercial construction, including drywall, painting, or metal stud work, for a subcontractor or general contractor
Clean driving record
Strong writing, organizational, and Excel skills
Tech‑savvy with experience using project management and estimating software or similar systems
Experience managing change orders and contract negotiations
Excellent follow‑up skills and strong attention to detail
