HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Food & Beverage industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Salary:

$35.00/hour

Shift:

11pm-7:30am Tues-Sat

Location:

Minneapolis, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Maintain and repair facility assets, ensuring continuous operation of equipment.

Operate and maintain lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor, relay, and process control equipment.

Support production operations by ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation to perform maintenance.

Utilize tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintain production schedules.

Comply with safety regulations, plant procedures, and company standards.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address mechanical issues.

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Maintenance AAS or Program Certificate in lieu of education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, PLC, etc.).

Working knowledge of electrical power phases (480, 240, 120 volts) and control wiring.

1st Class B Boiler License (or willingness to obtain with company support).

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Skilled in handling basic hand tools and working with mechanical/electrical components.

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Comfortable working in production and cooler environments with moderate to high noise.

Ability to follow safety protocols and respond to emergency situations.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
