Inventory Control & E-Commerce Coordinator Location: Smokey Hills Outdoor Store – Park Rapids, MN About Us: Smokey Hills Outdoor Store is a full-service sporting goods store specializing in fishing, hunting, firearms, live bait, and outdoor adventure gear. We also operate GoIceFish.com, our dedicated e-commerce store featuring everything ice fishing and fish house related. We take pride in providing exceptional products and outstanding customer service to outdoor enthusiasts both locally and nationwide. Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized candidate to oversee all inventory control for both our in-store sporting goods department and our online store. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory levels, smooth ordering processes, and efficient e-commerce operations. The position can be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate. This position will also involve working with a variety of vendors – some large and highly structured, and others smaller 'mom-and-pop' operations that may require extra follow-up and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels in-store and online - Place product orders with vendors and suppliers - Track and process returns, exchanges, and defective merchandise - Implement price changes, product line changes, and ensure all items are stickered, tagged, and ready for sale - Oversee inventory control for GoIceFish.com including adding products, managing stock levels, and processing orders - Package and ship online orders in a timely and professional manner - Work closely with management to maintain an organized and efficient inventory system Qualifications: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management and e-commerce software - Ability to lift and move products as needed - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Prior experience in inventory control, retail, or e-commerce is preferred but not required - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment Schedule & Compensation: • Flexible scheduling – position can be part-time or full-time • Competitive pay based on experience • Benefits available for full-time employees (health insurance contribution, paid vacation, full time only)
