Job Description
Job Overview The Quality Inspector II plays a crucial role in supporting production by ensuring adherence to specifications, conducting comprehensive inspections, and communicating necessary adjustments to the production supervisor. This role requires meticulous documentation of inspection results in compliance with the Quality Management System, including reports, logs, and summaries of rework activities.
Responsibilities
Conduct visual inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Utilize measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to perform dimensional and functional checks on components. Perform routine tests, including physical and non-destructive testing, to assess product integrity and reliability. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records per established procedures and quality management systems. Identify and address non-conformities or deviations from quality standards; collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues promptly. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in an Inspection or Quality environment. Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and optical comparators. Ability to interpret blueprint requirements accurately. Familiarity with ISO standards and Quality Management System requirements. Basic computer knowledge, including experience with SAP.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and with teams. Strong problem-solving skills.
