Manager, Data Analytics & Delivery – Hybrid
Cedars‑Sinai’s Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team is focused on clinical transformation through alignment of people, processes, and technologies. The Manager, Data Analytics & Delivery will supervise a group of data analysts and Tableau developers, leading design, development, testing, and ongoing support of reporting requests that support day‑to‑day business and patient care processes within the health system. Responsibilities
Supervise and participate in the design, implementation, testing, improvement, and documentation of reports. Manage EIS capital and operating budgets as assigned. Provide strategic knowledge and management expertise to the Data & Analytics Delivery leadership group and overall EDI on report development capabilities in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SAS. Scan, evaluate, select, and integrate new technology solutions. Facilitate and maintain the efficient intake and governance of report requests. Facilitate, advise, and support customers regarding data requests and act as point of escalation. Implement performance measurement system to track customer base, request complexity, resource utilization, and efficiency for both individual and team. Participate in multidisciplinary teams for requirements definition, vendor selection, and information systems implementation, testing, and support. Implement the CSHS technology architecture guidelines for technology infrastructure and application development. Participate in EIS informatics teaching, research, and publishing efforts. Recruit, onboard, manage schedules, personnel actions, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans. Supervise day‑to‑day work of employees, assign work, ensure tasks are completed, and expectations are met. Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of experience with information systems in a sophisticated multi‑platform healthcare environment. SQL programming, Tableau dashboard development and administration experience with emphasis on visualization, efficiency, and automation required. Three (3) or more years of Management/Supervisor experience in a Healthcare IT team. Two (2) or more years of Epic report development experience. Physician Billing, Epic Tapestry, AP Claims, and Population Health experience highly desired. Education & Certification
High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred. Epic Certification (Clarity, Reporting, and/or RWB), preferred. Location: San Francisco, CA Compensation: $131,976 – $230,963.20 annually
