Overview
Operations Technician
— Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB), Ohio Chenega MIOS provides national security support and technology services to federal agencies. The Operations Technician will provide services supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB. Responsibilities
Operate and monitor all equipment, resource distribution network, and ancillary support equipment during active operations. Communicate with test cell personnel in the coordination and delivery of resources to ensure protection of CRAF equipment and all associated personnel. Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required. Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school degree or GED equivalent 8+ years of technical experience or training in large rotating equipment and systems, including high-pressure, high-temperature process systems, vacuum systems, and electromechanical subsystems OR Trade school or related college-level technical curriculum with 5+ years of on-the-job training (government approval required) Must be a U.S. citizen Background check and Public Trust/NACI required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to comply with applicable codes and standards of the contract Ability to pass customer security requirements Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as required Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team Strong verbal and written communication with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management Strong problem-solving skills Travel up to 10% as required Growth & Benefits
