The Project Planner/ Buyer will have dual responsibility for ensuring materials and services are provided to all areas of the organization in a way that supports the production schedule. This role will also be responsible for working with the customer to ensure projects are on track from onset to completion of the project planning and purchasing process. What you get to do!

Prepare purchase orders by validating specifications, qty, price, delivery, and vendor qualifications. Receive, manage, and approve purchase requisitions. Manage inventory items by verifying stock, transferring product and best utilization of existing supply. Manage bills of material on jobs. Support the Engineering department to research and acquire materials needed for new product development. Responds to inquiries on order status, changes, or cancellations. Vendor management such as but not limited to charge back and nonconformance. Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents. Responsible for following government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (DPAS, ITAR, ISO9001, and AS9100 etc.) relating to the development of cost proposals, accounting, and rate development. Assist with audits, fact-finding, and negotiations and understanding how they affect the proposal process. Assist department leaders, support operations, and prioritize supply using proper judgment and needs assessment. Maintaining clear communication between facilities and departments on critical, urgent, and essential parts and supplies. Participation in developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures. Coordination of high revenue project Handle order entry, scheduling, inventory control, invoicing, customer returns, and budgetary forecasting of the account for production Document procedures, as well as track and review processes accordingly What you will bring to the Team

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Purchasing or Buying role, in a high-volume manufacturing environment Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and MRP/ERP systems. Ability to successfully research and resolve direct shipment issues and concerns in an accurate, thorough, and timely matter with minimal assistance. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to demonstrate attention to details Great teammate who can effectively interact with management and collaborate with other departments in the organization Strong mathematical skills The BIG payoff
