Support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System. Perform cost estimating, analysis and control activities. Supervise and provide technical direction for cost engineering and planning/scheduling activities. Identify trends for management attention. Perform quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, schedule monitoring, report writing, and computer operations. Apply knowledge of engineering drawings, quantity determinations, mathematical, and financial reports. Demonstrate an intermediate level understanding of project controls general technical skills. Provide detailed and accurate status reports and implement corrective actions. Qualifications
Minimum of four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of project controls and/or project management, including cost estimating, cost control and cost analysis, project scheduling, and implementation of corrective actions. Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes. Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of engineering and construction management, customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) and knowledge of engineering functions and principles required to understand and successfully implement and monitor technical projects.
