Turion Space
At Turion Space, we’re building spacecraft to secure Earth and expand humanity’s reach beyond it. As a Document Control Specialist, you will be the point of contact for all engineering documents including engineering change orders (ECO), drawing releases, bill of materials (BOMs), procedures and work instructions. You will be a critical part of our engineering team and ensure that our spacecraft have secure, complete and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all documentation adheres to company procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements
Review documents for formatting, compliance, and version control standards
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to facilitate document workflows, resolve issues, and ensure consistency in documentation practices
Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change requests (ECRs) by seeking review and approvals from various stakeholders
Complete new item and ECO requests in a timely manner by following established company procedures
File, manage, and track all engineering documents
Document all changes and corrections in accordance with aerospace regulations and company practices
Safeguard documents and ensure that appropriate security measures as well as export control measures are followed for all applicable documents
Support engineering and quality administrative business needs as required
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years in Document Control or Records Management
High attention to detail with a focus on quality compliance
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company including internal and external customers
Strong attention to detail with ability to set priorities to meet time‑sensitive project deadlines
Able to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher (preferred)
Experience working with Electronic Records Management Systems, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience in writing procedures, work instructions, flowcharts and developing process improvements
Configuration Management System experience
Prior work in the aerospace industry
Exposure to AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements and audits
Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes
Able to document and present technical information clearly
