About the Role Bridge Marina seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee boating club members, boat rentals, dock slips, and marina facilities in Lake Hopatcong. The role balances a summer season of outdoor water work with a structured off‑season of system enhancements, fleet maintenance, marina improvements, and guest development efforts aimed at ensuring smooth operations for the following season.
Primary Responsibilities Guest & Team Engagement
Provide care and support to guests and teammates, ensuring a safe, fun, and rewarding experience.
Communicate with guests to understand current and future needs, providing recommendations and solutions to enhance their experience.
Assist in training and developing team members to align with Bridge Marina’s guest service standards.
Operations & Facility Oversight
Oversee daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance, safety, and administration of the fleet, marina facilities, and equipment.
Lead and oversee boat preparation, cleaning, safety checks, launching, and dock operations.
Support and lead general marina operational tasks, maintenance projects, and seasonal transitions.
Ensure the marina, fleet, and facilities remain safe, clean, organized, and operationally effective.
Scheduling & Leadership
Schedule daily activities and oversee the operations team.
Lead and support teammates to ensure fast, friendly, and safe service.
Guide and direct operational workflows to keep teams and guests moving safely and efficiently.
Process Improvement & Seasonal Strategy
Assist with improving marina systems and strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Oversee various off‑season projects that improve workflows, guest services, and facility operations for future seasons.
Identify and implement proactive solutions to operational challenges.

Someone who enjoys and appreciates seasonal rhythms, embracing the energy of summer on the water while valuing a quieter, project‑focused off‑season with time for planning and improvements. This is a full‑time year‑round role.
Available from late April to mid‑October including weekends and holidays, with typical hours between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (mid‑week days off, Tuesdays and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday off).
Flexible transition to a Monday‑Friday schedule during the off‑season mid‑October‑April, with typical hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and a generous holiday break.
Boating knowledge—familiarity with single‑engine boats up to 25 feet, boating rules and regulations, and safe boating practices.
Tech‑savvy and adaptable, comfortable using software for scheduling, sales, and communication to streamline operations.
