As a Perishable Representative, you are responsible for providing a well‑stocked and well‑maintained department while providing superior customer service.
Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis, while maintaining all department and food safety / sanitation standards.
Once eligible become an Owner in the company, demonstrating commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and customer service.

Key Job Functions
Customer Service: Provides superior customer service, takes orders, answers questions.
Food Service: Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product; slices, packages, labels, rotates; scans items; assists in technical areas.
Sales: Merchandises product effectively, uses suggestive selling, makes announcements.
Food Safety / Sanitation: Cleans and sanitizes display cases, operates equipment, complies with standards and SOPs.
Additional Department‑Specific Responsibilities
Aguas: Peels, cuts, chops fresh fruits and vegetables; prepares fresh specialty drinks and food products.
Floral: Designs floral arrangements; provides a variety of fresh products; designs merchandising programs; tracks seasonal record.
Market: Cuts, trims, prepares meat; ensures proper product rotation and storage; maintains coolers/freezers; weighs, prices, packages; operates power meat prep equipment.
Produce: Stocks and rotates product; assists floral when needed; communicates product knowledge; cuts, wraps, prices; maintains signing program.
Seafood: Knowledgeable about various fish and shellfish; weighs, prices, packages; maintains coolers/freezers.
Background
Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training
Skills & Requirements
Computer systems knowledge (Telxon, ACR, label machine)
Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, reading and writing skills.
Planning and organizing skills.
Function in a fast‑paced retail environment; stay attentive to customer needs.
Physical Demands
Market, Seafood: Frequent reaching, standing, bending; exposure to wet/cold; lift up to 90 lbs or 50 lbs respectively; occasionally hot conditions and noise.
