Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst- Level 3 (Principal) , to join our
Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Missile Defense Systems
team in
Magna, UT . This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
This position can be filled at either Level 3 or Level 4.
In This Job, You Will
Participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for contract work.
Participate in the control of costs and schedules through cost schedule control system.
Prepare internal and external customer reports.
Assist managers in achieving objectives by compiling and reviewing budgets for programs and organizations using actual performance, previous budget figures and related workload forecasts (affordability), indirect expense analysis and other data sources for proper financial administration.
Help management and leadership validate Estimate-To-Complete data and ensure the accuracy of the estimates.
Participate in Integrated Program Management (IPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM). Maintain resources and logic within the resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Respond to external, internal, and government auditors.
Weekly progress reporting and variance analysis.
Generate working capital/cash forecasting including cost type and PBP billing and collections.
Weekly labor tracking and reporting to program management and customers.
Prepare and update estimate-to-complete baselines and establish performance measurement reporting/customer reporting requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Level 3 – Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience — or — Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience.
Level 4 – Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience — or — Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Primavera, Open Plan, Microsoft Project.
Experience with program planning/scheduling.
Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.
Experience with financial analysis and/or reporting.

Compensation Primary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 – $118,100.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,100.00 – $147,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
