Responsibilities
Oversee service orders and drive lane flow, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous service.
Take ownership of the customer experience, performing additional tasks that reflect positively on the dealership.
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, both phone and in‑person, to avoid mishandling.
Maintain consistent daily inventory of technicians’ time for service customers.
Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Maintain customer happiness scores at or above company standards.
Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as needed.
Oversee administration of warranty claims and supervise the service department.
Set schedules and assign tasks to service department employees.
Reinforce company policies and adhere to standards.
Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain positive relationships with factory partners and foster employee relations.
Collaborate with upper management on service‑department hiring and discipline decisions.
Qualifications
Organized, friendly personality.
Demonstrated ability to manage others.
Strong time‑management skills.
Excellent communication skills with customers.
Professional, well‑groomed appearance.
Consistent record of service and sales success.
Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
Team‑oriented and self‑motivated.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
