We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Fixed Income operations to join our team as an Assistant Vice President or Vice President. This role is pivotal in overseeing trade support functions, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless client service across a broad range of Fixed Income products.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Oversight & Governance
Lead the confirmation and monitoring of all Fixed Income trades across platforms such as Bloomberg TOMS and ION. Ensure trade accuracy, client alignment, and compliance with internal controls.
Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation
Proactively identify and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement risks, and operational bottlenecks. Implement preventive measures to reduce failed trades and enhance process reliability.
Repo Trade Management
Oversee repo trading activity for a diverse client base. Coordinate with traders to source bids / offers, manage credit lines, and ensure timely booking and settlement.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as a senior point of contact for client inquiries across email, Bloomberg, and phone. Ensure timely and professional resolution of issues, reinforcing trust and satisfaction.
Pricing & Evaluation Distribution
Manage the end-to-end process of client pricing requests. Liaise with trading desks to obtain evaluations and ensure accurate, deadline-driven delivery.
Account Onboarding & Compliance Coordination
Lead the onboarding of new accounts by gathering required documentation and collaborating with Credit, Compliance, and Sales Management to meet AML and regulatory standards.
Sales Commission Oversight
Review and resolve commission-related inquiries from sales teams. Ensure transparency and accuracy in compensation reporting.
Trader Inventory Reporting
Supervise the distribution of trader inventory reports to clients using internal systems and ensure consistency and timeliness.
Electronic Platform Enablement
Facilitate client onboarding to electronic trading platforms such as MarketAxess, Tradeweb, and Bloomberg. Act as a strategic liaison between clients, sales, and technology teams.
Qualifications
Minimum5+ years of experience in Fixed Income trade support or related operations
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Expertise in Bloomberg, ION, Helix, Impact, and other relevant systems
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7 / 63) preferred
The expected base salary ranges from $82,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
