The Donovan's Venom, INC. is a non‑profit 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt organization dedicated to bringing music, art, and entertainment to those who need it most. We curate universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all, ensuring high‑quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art are available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities through education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact.

What You’ll Do

You’ll jump into our ongoing project (website redesign and app design), quickly familiarize yourself with our brand voice—lively, encouraging, educational, and welcoming—and create engaging copy for a variety of assets that connect with our audience, ensuring every word we publish aligns with our mission and inspires our community.

Product Descriptions – Write clear, appealing descriptions for shop items, including books, merchandise, gift cards, and membership packages.

Banners – Create attention‑grabbing banners for holiday sales, deals, and upgrades.

CTA Pop‑Ups – Craft compelling call‑to‑action copy for initiatives such as toy drives, giveaways, event reminders, and special offers.

Google Ads – Write engaging ad copy to drive traffic and conversions.

Social Media Assistance – Consult with the social media team on copy across digital platforms as needed.

Fact‑Check and Verify – Ensure all published content is accurate, well‑researched, and aligned with our values.

Collaboration – Work with the Executive Suite, team leads, marketing, UX/UI designers, and developers.

What We’re Looking For

Someone with some prior content or copywriting experience who is eager to learn and grow.

A willingness to accept feedback, take initiative, and work proactively.

Availability to dedicate 5–10 hours per week to the project (or more if possible).

A portfolio or examples of previous work that we can discuss and walk through in an initial meeting.
