Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain Greenhouse
– care for plants: plant, weed, water. (40%)
Assist in basic lab activities
– including collecting plant samples, inoculating samples, setting up field studies, labeling, and placing flags/stakes/markers. (60%)

Position Summary The position involves greenhouse assistance, including potting, inoculating, watering, and maintaining a neat, orderly greenhouse. Assistance with lab research, including sample collection, inoculation, setting up field studies, and basic lab protocols such as washing glassware, preparing solutions, media, autoclaving supplies, and waste management. Responsibilities also include keeping the laboratory space clean and organized.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Physical demands include standing, lifting, and enduring outside elements for extended periods.
