They’re seeking a Community & Events Coordinator to drive local growth in Los Angeles. This highly cross‑functional role blends community building, creator engagement, and event execution. You’ll onboard collaborators, bring the brand to life through grassroots partnerships, and energize a passionate user base with unique, memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Build and grow an engaged Los Angeles community of sharers, renters, and creators

Plan and host multiple in‑person activations and events each month

Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with creators, stylists, and local influencers

Collaborate on locally sourced social content and community campaigns

Coordinate with internal teams on city‑specific messaging and growth strategies

Manage local email and SMS campaigns to boost participation and retention

Develop partnerships with local brands, pop‑ups, and community groups

Represent the brand in LA, handling everything from grassroots outreach to large‑scale partnerships

Education & Qualifications

Strong ties to LA’s creative, fashion, or influencer community

Natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills

Resourceful, proactive, and able to thrive in early‑stage ambiguity

“Get‑it‑done” mindset with accountability and follow‑through

Ability to balance strategy with scrappy execution

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience

Startup or marketplace background

Experience with influencer/creator engagement or brand activations

Familiarity with peer‑to‑peer or sharing economy models

Basic design/content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Reels, TikTok)

Comfortable being on camera or helping shoot quick‑turn social content
