Job Description As a Security Officer – Aero/Defense Front Desk in Westfield, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, managing access control and providing exceptional customer service. This part‑time role offers flexibility and the chance to build a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable experience across various industries.

What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
Be ready to field urgent needs when they arise.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and employees at the front desk.
Verify identification and credentials to monitor access.
Assist with visitor management and logging guests.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and management.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain a visible, deterrent presence at the front desk.
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts.
Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.
Minimum Requirements
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
