Hatchery Management Trainee at Aviagen
Job Description Summary We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our Hatchery Management Trainee program who are willing and driven to learn and engage with all aspects of Parent Stock Hatcheries in North America, ultimately filling roles within one of our four regions. This position will be located at one of our Parent Stock Hatcheries within the region. Possible locations include Pageland, SC; Quitman, GA; Blairsville, GA; Pikeville, TN; Talladega, AL; Sallisaw, OK; or Watertown, NY.
Ideal Candidate
Associate's degree, BS or equivalent experience in poultry or agriculture related fields
Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
Ability to remain flexible and adaptable
Driven to learn and improve
Effective communication with diverse groups and backgrounds
Program Duties
Up to 20 weekly rotations through the Hatchery Process functions
Additional rotations through other Aviagen departments to learn about the business as a whole
Required travel to other Aviagen sites as schedule dictates
